Iberian Forum 2012

The third International Youth Forum was organised by the European Youth Parliament España and gathered 160 young people from different European countries in the city of Girona from the 18th of July to the 26th, where they debated the burning topics that affect Europe today. The session gathered too 40 officials and 120 delegates divided into 10 committees. The session was presided by Valeria Cherednichenko and organised by Anna Borrell and Albert Reverendo. Girona is a city in the northeast of Catalonia (Spain), 100km from Barcelona. It’s a historical European city, but at the same time modern and multicultural, which is easy to fall in love with. The first inhabitants in the region were the Iberians, the group of people with which the Iberian Peninsula and this session share its name.
